#GoalGetter

Happy New Year!! I know it's about two weeks in...but the year seems like it is already flying by so fast! With school & work I really have to find time to do what I love...blogging! Which brings me to my 2018 goals. Last year I saw a lot of people post on social media under other peoples accounts #goals and I also saw myself looking at other accounts and thinking #Goals right?! While aspiring to be like someone else is not bad at all, you want to make sure you don't take it to an unhealthy level. I started to wonder what if I just aspired to be my best self?

For 2018, I am my own #Goals! Yes I am still working on getting my body right (I turn 30 this year!), and working on myself and my relationships, however me at my best is my #Goals! It may be simple and cliché, but I am striving to just be a better me in 2018 and hope that everyone does the same. You should be your own goals because nobody can be better at being you...then you right? I asked God to reveal to me areas in my life that needed improvement and He has surely answered my prayers! I will continuing writing down and striving towards my goals and thanking God everyday that I am the best at being me!

In the words of Yvonne Orji (From Insecure) If you ever see or read something that attributes her success being other than God, then it has been altered because God has given her everything she has today.
So under a pic of my hubby and I...#marriagegoals....my friends and I...#friendshipgoals ...my body...that's right-->> #BodyGoals! Here's to 2018 and being your own goals!

This year I am also working on #blogginggoals and being more consistent with my YouTube videos and blog content. I am my own #stylegoals hehe...and I am loving co-ord pieces for 2018. Can you say instant outfit? These are for the girl who wants all the style without all the work. Rock a two-piece fit and be instantly stylish. All you have to add are accessories. I saw this piece on GoJane and had to have it. Is it olive green or gray? Not sure but its cute! The oversized look is trendy plus midi skirts are a must have in my closet. I paired the look with some fierce booties, a simple cross body and oversized sunglasses to finish off the look. Now that what's I call...#Goals

New Year, New Things..Classic Neutrals

Happy New Year!

This is my first blog post of the new year and I am so excited about all the content I have planned for you all this year! Make sure to keep up with me by following me on social media :) Links are below!

I pray you all are having a great first week of 2017. It's a New Year and I declare New Things! Not just material things..but new goals, new influences, new everything!

Let's first start off with new shoes and a bag! My hubby, who is awesome by the way and hopefully you will seeing more of him soon, gifted me with my first high end purchase! In my opinion, when you start to purchase more high end pieces start with classics that will never go out of style. I went with the classic Christian Louboutin nude So Kates and I LOVE THEM! They are the definition of style and class and are a great pair to add to your shoe collection.

Anything will go beautifully with these shoes but for this look I am loving neutrals. My hubby also gifted me the Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote in the perfect tan color that goes with everything. If you know me, I keep a brown tote with me at all times! If you also know me I am a bargain shopper and although I may splurge once in a while, styling high and low end pieces can definitely pull your look together!

For example, this light nude duster that I purchased on Amazon (Yes Amazon) for less than $30 really pulled this look together. I am loving this duster! You all will probably see it a lot more this year! Along with the neutrals theme I wore a plan white shirt and white skinny jeans to focus the look on the jacket and shoes and voila! A simple neutral look that is classic  and you are ready for the New Year!
