EMBROIDERED

Hey Loves!

What is trending is my favorite topic to blog about and this Spring one of my favorite trends is the embroidered look! I specifically remember some embroidered overalls I use to rock back in elementary school LOL and it's back!

This look can be found in most stores now and since it is a statement piece you can dress down the rest of your look. I also love stripes so this top is perfect. The colorful floral print gives it a fun and flirty look and this top is also very comfortable and breathable for the Spring time weather.

I styled the top with white jeggings and since it is festival season I added a tan fringe cross-body bag and tan boho flats to finish the look. This look is so perfect to spring. Check out the links below for this look.

NEW Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette Review

Hey Loves!

So finding a contour palette for women of color is not the easiest especially because we come in so many different beautiful shades. #BlackGirlMagic

Despite being underrepresented in the makeup industry there are a few makeup lines just for WOC and one of them is Black Radiance. They are a drugstore brand which can be found at Walmart, Walgreens and on the Black Radiance website. They have revamped their line to add different contouring and sculpting products. One of their new products is the True Complexion Contour Palette Here (7.99) and it comes in Light to Medium and Medium to Dark. I bought mine in medium to dark and I have to say I am loving it so far.

Being a beginner with the highlighting and contour phenomena, I look for easy to use, affordable yet effective products. This palette is gorgeous!! It comes with a contouring, sculpting and highlighting powder with an easy diagram to show where on the face to place the product. My Favorite Winter Lipsticks!

Happy February!

Spring is around the corner, however Winter is still here and this past season I have been rocking bold lips including reds and purples! Right now I am loving matte lipsticks. They stay all day and depending on the brand they do not dry out your lips. Below I have 7 of my favorite lipsticks that I have been obsessed with this winter. These colors are gorgeous especially on W.O.C (woman of color) It is also Black History Month and although I celebrate all year round...I am just loving my melanin in these pics!
