CANCUN VACATION VLOG 2017

Hey Hunnies!

My hubby and I have the travel bug and recently went on a week vacation to Cancun with my church's marriage ministry. It was an amazing week and we spent time planning our year and what we are declaring in our lives! This was also a very adventurous trip! We zip-lined and snorkeled in Mexican Xenotes which are natural sinkholes.

We stayed at an all-inclusive resort called the Iberostar Cancun. It was a beautiful resort. I loved our room, the beach, and the multiple pools. The customer service was great and it was definitely family friendly. My hubby and I were disappointed in the food choices though. The buffet was medicore as well as the grill. We ate at two of their four specialty restaurants, the Japanese Hibachi and Steak restaurant. The Hibachi was good they did not have the white sauce!? The best restaurant was the steak restaurant and I would recommend eating there. All in all we had a fantastic time.

New Year, New Things..Classic Neutrals

Happy New Year!

This is my first blog post of the new year and I am so excited about all the content I have planned for you all this year! Make sure to keep up with me by following me on social media :) Links are below!

I pray you all are having a great first week of 2017. It's a New Year and I declare New Things! Not just material things..but new goals, new influences, new everything! 

Let's first start off with new shoes and a bag! My hubby, who is awesome by the way and hopefully you will seeing more of him soon, gifted me with my first high end purchase! In my opinion, when you start to purchase more high end pieces start with classics that will never go out of style. I went with the classic Christian Louboutin nude So Kates and I LOVE THEM! They are the definition of style and class and are a great pair to add to your shoe collection. 

Anything will go beautifully with these shoes but for this look I am loving neutrals. My hubby also gifted me the Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote in the perfect tan color that goes with everything. If you know me, I keep a brown tote with me at all times! If you also know me I am a bargain shopper and although I may splurge once in a while, styling high and low end pieces can definitely pull your look together! 

For example, this light nude duster that I purchased on Amazon (Yes Amazon) for less than $30 really pulled this look together. I am loving this duster! You all will probably see it a lot more this year! Along with the neutrals theme I wore a plan white shirt and white skinny jeans to focus the look on the jacket and shoes and voila! A simple neutral look that is classic  and you are ready for the New Year!

DUBAI TRAVEL VLOG 2016 | PART 2

Dubai Travel Vlog Part 2

So the main reason I wanted to go to Dubai was to ride camels Lol...among other things. So before we went to Dubai I booked a Desert Safari with "Desert Safari Dubai" Click Here For a 6-7 hour safari including transfers, sand dune bashing, camel riding, a full buffet and entertainment it was only $50 US per person! It was a great deal and everyone needs to experience it at least once! It was so much fun riding the sand dunes (if you get motion sickness I would avoid) and the camel riding! It was totally worth it and I do recommend this company! 

We visited Jumeriah Beach where you see picturesque views of the famous and only 7 star hotel in the world the Burj All Arab! The water is beautiful and don't worry you can wear a bikini! Jumeirah Beach is in the more affluent side of Dubai and definitely a must see.

The last day we chilled and went souvenir shopping at the markets and Dubai Mall and just soaked it all in. Dubai was on my bucket list and it definitely wowed me! It is on the list to visit again. The food was better , it was clean and I could see myself living there if given the opportunity... I hope you all enjoyed my Vlog! Stay tuned for more travel blogs in the future!
