Sew Stylish DIY Off-the-Shoulder Summer top

Hey Loves!

I am so excited for summer and ready to rock all the trends! The biggest trending item I am seeing everywhere is the off-the-shoulder top or cold-shoulder! They are flattering on every body type and reveal just your shoulders for a flirty and sexy look. They are sold everywhere and I saw this same top at Zara for $50! Being the bargainista that I am...I did not buy it Lol...however I wanted it so bad! It looked easy enough to make so I did! I made it for less than $10 too! ..and so can you!

This shirt is my absolute favorite now! I have gotten so many compliments and might start selling them...so look out! Its so light and flowy with a little bit of flirtiness. I wore this top for a casual Saturday look and paired it with one of my favorite high waisted jeans, some summer flats, a cross-body and a choker. Chokers are also finding their way back to the scene! I am a 90's kid and LOVED chokers growing up and I am so happy they are making a comeback!

Easy DIY Pencil Skirt Tutorial

Hey Dolls!

A classic pencil skirt is a staple in every woman's closet... Or two or three! Basically, I don't think you can have too many pencil skirts ...hehe :-)

This easy DIY tutorial is for a high- waisted pencil skirt with a side zipper. It can be made with an elastic band as well..I will film a tutorial later on how to do that.

Summer is here in Florida (Lol) and I love wearing bright colors. I chose an orange Ankara fabric for my pencil skirt and styled it with a bright yellow #Melanin shirt that I LOVE!! #TeamMelanin

I finished off the look with nude heels and minimal gold jewelry. Way back in college I bought some gold earrings with Africa on them and I am so happy I found them to bring the look together. Outfit deets below!

Easy DIY men's shirt to Off-the-Shoulder Spring Dress

Happy Spring!!

Spring is my favorite season for fashion and the Off-the-Shoulder trend is one of Springs hottest styles. Using a men's shirt that you can get from a thrift store or your favorites guys closet, (like me hehe) you can refashion it into this easy DIY Spring Dress.
