SPRING 2017 FASHION HAUL

Spring has arrived and so has all the spring trends! This spring I am really diving into color and refuse to buy any black, gray or anything dark! My birthday  just passed  on April 18th and I feel colorful and happy inside thanks to Jesus of course and the song "Coloring This Life' by Vybz Cartel (My favorite song at the moment). Being happy is a state of mind and though I have been criticized for my overall cheerful disposition (I know right?!) as I embark on 29 years of  life I am so appreciative of being just Happy and not hiding it because a lot of people are not. I love to show how I feel with my style and have picked up a few item in the past few months and of course I did a haul + try on to show all of you!

Pre Fall Style Haul 2016 !!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons...wait..I say that about all the seasons! Lol..truth is I love each season individually! I love the fashion and styles you can wear all year round.  And when Summer transitions to Fall is great because the weather is just perfect! Sew Stylish DIY Off-the-Shoulder Summer top

Hey Loves!

I am so excited for summer and ready to rock all the trends! The biggest trending item I am seeing everywhere is the off-the-shoulder top or cold-shoulder! They are flattering on every body type and reveal just your shoulders for a flirty and sexy look. They are sold everywhere and I saw this same top at Zara for $50! Being the bargainista that I am...I did not buy it Lol...however I wanted it so bad! It looked easy enough to make so I did! I made it for less than $10 too! ..and so can you!

This shirt is my absolute favorite now! I have gotten so many compliments and might start selling them...so look out! Its so light and flowy with a little bit of flirtiness. I wore this top for a casual Saturday look and paired it with one of my favorite high waisted jeans, some summer flats, a cross-body and a choker. Chokers are also finding their way back to the scene! I am a 90's kid and LOVED chokers growing up and I am so happy they are making a comeback!

#Ootd Loving prints + DIY Ankara/African print pleated skirt tutorial

I hope your March is going well! Spring is right around the corner and I am really excited about all the trendy styles to wear this season. A pleated skirt is always classic, whether it is a mini, midi, or maxi skirt. 

As promised I filmed a easy DIY for a high-waist pleated skirt using some of this gorgeous printed Ankara fabric! I LOVE THIS SKIRT guys! This tutorial will show you step by step how to make this skirt and you can choose the length.

The Fall Poncho #OOTD

Happy Saturday!

Its been a bit muggy here in Florida but today we had a slight breeze (LOL) which means for a Florida girl to whip out the boots and cute sweaters. In this case I wore a long sleeve black ribbed sweater dress with my black booties . To complete the look I featured this super comfortable and trendy burgundy Fall Poncho, which I got at Forever 21 for only $10 for Black Friday! I love it so much! Ponchos are so stylish this season while adding warmth and they scream Fall! There are so many ways to style it and they are very warm and cozy as well. I topped of this look with a black hat and Cherry Bomb lipstick from Wet n Wild cosmetics. Fall is for layering and still managing to stay warm and comfortable and this look is definitely one of my Fall favorites.  This look and more are in my new Black Friday Haul on my YouTube channel.
