NEW Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette Review

Hey Loves!

So finding a contour palette for women of color is not the easiest especially because we come in so many different beautiful shades. #BlackGirlMagic

Despite being underrepresented in the makeup industry there are a few makeup lines just for WOC and one of them is Black Radiance. They are a drugstore brand which can be found at Walmart, Walgreens and on the Black Radiance website. They have revamped their line to add different contouring and sculpting products. One of their new products is the True Complexion Contour Palette Here (7.99) and it comes in Light to Medium and Medium to Dark. I bought mine in medium to dark and I have to say I am loving it so far.

Being a beginner with the highlighting and contour phenomena, I look for easy to use, affordable yet effective products. This palette is gorgeous!! It comes with a contouring, sculpting and highlighting powder with an easy diagram to show where on the face to place the product. #Ootd Loving prints + DIY Ankara/African print pleated skirt tutorial

Hey Dolls!

I hope your March is going well! Spring is right around the corner and I am really excited about all the trendy styles to wear this season. A pleated skirt is always classic, whether it is a mini, midi, or maxi skirt.

As promised I filmed a easy DIY for a high-waist pleated skirt using some of this gorgeous printed Ankara fabric! I LOVE THIS SKIRT guys! This tutorial will show you step by step how to make this skirt and you can choose the length.

I styled the skirt with a simple long sleeve navy blue crop top from Forever 21 (Here) and these tan faux suede fringe sandals from Just Fab (Here)!

Is it Spring yet? #OOTD ft. DIY Ankara African Print Skirt

Yes! My favorite time of year is just about here!

Happy March 1st ❤

I cannot begin to explain how much I love Spring time!

The weather 🌹, my birthday 👑 ( April 18 ) and of course...the Spring Style!

Spring is the time to play with different colors and textures and to just have fun! I will be doing tons of #OOTD posts and videos so stay tuned!

If you follow me on Instagram (@RbyRachaelRae) you will have seen that I received tons of Ankara (African) fabric from my father in Nigeria and OMG I am so excited! I am in sewing heaven and and the DIYs are coming... The first of which is this beautiful pleated maxi skirt I made and I am loving it. Maxi skirts are a great transition from Winter to Spring while the weather is warming up. I paired this gorgeous skirt with this classic denim button up from Ross. I wore Nude heels that morning to church then switch tno nude flats after. Which is another reason I love maxi skirts...you can dress them up or down!
